LDFI had a busy and successful  2009 conference We made new members and those that wanted to receive our regular email briefings.

The LDFI Exhibition stand, with its new selection of books and leaflets, was busy. We distributed a new pamphlet

Our successful meeting   “PRESIDENT OBAMA’S QUEST FOR MIDDLE EAST PEACE.” was well attended

Speakers  were Gregory Berry Minister Counsellor for Political Affairs at the US Embassy in London, Talya Lador-Fresher  Deputy Ambassador at the Israeli Embassy in London, and Rt Hon Sir Alan Beith MP. The Meeting was chaired by Cllr. Monroe Palmer OBE

The meeting heard the latest in President Obama’s quest for a lasting Peace in the Middle East and his meeting with Prime Minister Netanyahu and President Abbas.
